HMI & SCADA:
the machine's face, done right.
All your PLC logic is invisible until a screen shows it. This module is the operator-facing layer, and two chapters are live so far, each with an HMI you drive yourself: tags and data binding, then screen hierarchy and faceplates. The alarm acknowledge cycle, trends and historians, recipes and user security, and a mini line dashboard you operate yourself are still being written.
The screen is the machine
👁️ operators never read your ST, so to them the HMI is the machine. A clear overview, honest alarms and a trustworthy trend are worth as much as the logic underneath.
Patterns under the paint
🧩 tags mirror FB surfaces, faceplates mirror FB instances, alarms are state machines and recipes are parameter structs. Everything you built in D5–D7 has an on-screen twin, and this module connects each one to its screen.
